Radcliffe Cardiology’s US Cardiology Review becomes official journal of CardioNerds
2 June 2023 – Buckinghamshire, UK
PRESS RELEASE PUBLISHED: JUN 02, 2023

Radcliffe Cardiology, a global community for cardiovascular professionals, today announces a partnership with CardioNerds, a US-based independent education platform with the mission to democratize cardiovascular education.

The agreement sees Dr Amit Goyal (right), Cleveland Clinic, US and Co-founder of CardioNerds, assume the position of Editor-in-Chief of Radcliffe Cardiology’s US Cardiology Review, a leading open access journal that endeavours to assist time-pressured physicians to stay abreast of key advances and opinion in cardiovascular disease.

To ensure the opportunity of universal access to publication among all prospective authors, US Cardiology Review will waive APCs for submissions – solicited and unsolicited – for a period of 18 months.

In addition to the journal, this partnership will see the cross-promotion of activities and resources to both respective communities, including Radcliffe’s rich repository of educational interviews, presentations and filmed cases, and CardioNerds’ growing collection of asynchronous digital educational platforms.

Radcliffe Cardiology would like to extend thanks to Dr Bill Gogas, outgoing Editor-in-Chief of US Cardiology Review for his commitment and expert stewardship during his 2.5 years leading the journal.

Of the agreement David Ramsey, CEO of Radcliffe Group (owner of Radcliffe Cardiology), commented: “Radcliffe Cardiology endeavours to achieve the widest possible dissemination of high-quality free-to-access educational reviews to HCPs. This is a great strategic fit with CardioNerds’ goal to democratize cardiovascular education. By combining US Cardiology Review’s reach and engaged global audience, with CardioNerds’ passion to invigorate engagement and foster a love of cardiovascular medicine, we foresee a bright future for the journal.”

Dr Amit Goyal, Co-founder of CardioNerds and incoming Editor-in-Chief of US Cardiology Review, commented: “We CardioNerds are proud to partner with Radcliffe Cardiology in our mission to democratize cardiovascular education. This collaboration gets to the heart of why we founded CardioNerds and will further fuel our work to disseminate free and high-quality cardiovascular education. Together, we aim to also democratize cardiovascular publishing – free for authors and readers. We have several innovative and exciting plans for US Cardiology Review to best serve its growing readership.”
